About the project:
£3m commercial development for St Modwen. Major phase of this business park to provide eight steel framed 2 storey brick clad units for small business enterprises. SWP were D&B consultants to main contractor Morgan Sindall here and went on to do further successful D&B schemes with this same contractor. Built on filled ground all structures were founded on traditional pads and strip footings. The surrounding footways cantilevered off the buildings to combat possible future ground settlement.
