About the project:
For Chichester University. £9m. Novated D&B project. Negotiated with repeat developer client. Three and four storey blocks with 350 beds in total. Loadbearing masonry structure on lightly reinforced strip footings on vibro compacted ground with precast concrete floors and curved timber roof. Site contamination had to be remediated before start. Roads and drainage solutions by SWP with foul capacity issues at SWA pumping station negotiated out.
