We are pleased to have completed another successful project with Langham Homes. This site comprised of a four storey residential building with an under croft parking level. Superstructure above ground floor was timber frame by a specialist supplier. SWP are involved with the development of the Rye Discovery Centre for Sussex Wildlife Trust. We are pleased to be working to ensure a sustainable solution to all parties with complex construction programming to ensure that all wildlife and plant life have minimum impact.

We have successfully completed another residential development for Riverdale at this site. This site comprised of 95 units of mixed detached and semi detached properties. Superstructures were traditional load bearing masonry and the foundations were a mix of mass concrete and piled to suit the varying site clay ground conditions and tree influence.

We are nearing successful completion of another residential development for Trinity Homes at this site. This site comprised of 12 affordable units of mixed detached and semi dethatched properties. Superstructures were timber frame and the foundations were deep strip mass concrete to suit the clay ground conditions and tree influence.

We are very pleased to have started this interesting project, working with Westridge Construction for a new Search and Rescue hanger facility for two S-92 helicopters. The hanger is located adjacent to the existing taxi way and runway of Lydd Airport, Kent. The facility will include hanger space for two helicopters, washdown and maintenance areas, crew and ground staff accommodation for 24-7 operations.

Site work is progressing well on another SWP project. The existing domestic property was demolished to make way for a three large houses with integral garages with private driveways for a local developer, GO Homes Ltd. The superstructures were constructed traditionally, with part timber trusses with some steelwork beam supports. Masonry walls were load bearing with a beam and block ground floor on deep strip foundations to suit clay soils and the influence of local mature trees.

The existing farm site consisted of an old cow shed and granary building in a poor condition. These were to be converted into holiday lets with five new buildings also being created for holiday lets. The timber frame single storey construction was designed and detailed by us, with 'Nu-Span' precast concrete insulated floor slabs all supported by traditional strip foundations. Structural repairs and alterations were designed to bring the existing properties up to a safe and habitable condition.

We are pleased to be appointed by Roffey Homes to this low rise residential development in Lancing. The existing building is being demolished to make way for this four storey reinforced concrete framed apartment building with cantilever balconies and roof terraces. The superstructure will be designed as a flat slab with slim columns to fit within wall widths.

Works are continuing well at The Causeway Apartment Building, located directly adjacent to the recently refurbished former Lloyds Bank Tower Block, Durrington, for our Client Rocco Homes. The original building was demolished to make way for this six storey reinforced concrete framed apartment building with balconies and roof terraces.
