The farm is located just off the A22 at Godstone and is very popular with families and is well worth a visit.
We are working with the client and Ashburnham Cameron Partnership to construct a variety of new building structures and upgrade the civil engineering site drainage.
This includes an Animal Barn with raised public viewing area, a two-storey Play Barn for indoor activities and café with toilet and changing facilities, a shop and entrance kiosks.
These are primarily steel framed superstructures, with retaining walls due to the sloping site and raft slabs and strip and pad foundations, bearing in the clay and sandstone.
The civil engineering includes improved facilities with additional toilets and cafes, with a new drainage system connecting into the existing. The surface water included upgraded land drainage and new shallow storage basin, feeding into the stream to the South of the site.
Progress is going well on site with the building going up quickly. Again, something a bit different, which we are enjoying.
