Recent SWP award this year – soon to be completed – from our client Dave Dalton of 3rd Avenue Developments. The existing office was a 1960’s style five storey concrete framed office block with the original Crittall type windows still in place. All to be converted to residential apartments. Eighteen units in all. Sixteen one bed units and 2 No two bed apartments. Front and rear elevations were completely renewed with new curtain walling systems. Architectural service provided by Miller Bourne LLP of Hove.
SWP structural provided a design service and site supervision for the conversion works which involved cutting out and trimming for new riser and drainage ducts. Also providing a more efficient car park layout with appropriate drainage alterations. The work is well underway and due for completion by the end of 2014
