SWP are pleased to be working with Pentland Homes on a site in Kent for 76 houses.
These are a variety of two and three storey properties with various elevational treatments, constructed traditionally.
The ground conditions varied on the site with fill over clay head deposits, over chalk at depth. It was agreed for consistency and a definitive foundation solution that piles and ground beams would be used for the full site area. SWP designed the structure for the houses and piled foundations and produced a construction set of working drawings and RC details.
We did not do the civil engineering work on this site, however we worked closely with the Civil Engineers to agree FFL`s to set out our foundations levels.
