SWP – General Statement 24-03-2020
SWP is closely monitoring the situation with regards to the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK. This includes close attention to the latest guidance from the WHO (World Health Organization), as well as from UK authorities. In light of the uncertainty we all face with the continued spread of Coronavirus, we wanted to keep you informed of the steps we are taking at SWP Ltd to help protect our people and you, our valued Clients. As ever we’re working hard to try and maintain the best possible Client Service. First and foremost, our thoughts are with anyone affected and their respective families, the essential staff, and the NHS in their valuable efforts in dealing with the outbreak.
At present we are open as usual and doing everything to serve our Clients in a healthy and clean environment. Our Staff have all been briefed on appropriate additional housekeeping standards and measures, we are supplied with stocks of hand sanitiser or wipes, soap and tissues. In addition, we have directed employees that if they are unwell, believe they may have been exposed to or in a high-risk area, they are to act responsibly as defined by government guidance.
We have put in place the infrastructure needed to enable our people to work remotely so that disruption will be minimised. Our usual mobile telephone numbers and email addresses will remain in use. We also aim wherever possible to adhere to current design programmes. If you have been advised to self-isolate / stay at home, please contact us and we’ll do what we can to accommodate this with constant communication.
Our priorities are the welfare of our employees and clients, as well as maintaining the high level of service and support on all of our projects. SWP has taken precautions to stop business travel and meetings where possible, to comply with social distancing rules.
We may need to review or change this advice periodically, depending on the advice of the UK Government.
