Works are now completed on this new build, three storey apartment building for Sandy Lane Projects.
Primarily a traditional construction apartment block in load bearing masonry with precast concrete floors, cranked roof steelwork, all on traditional strip foundations with a part basement infill. The soil conditions were gravelly sand overlaying weathered chalk.
The civil engineering was actually quite straight forward, although on a tight site area, with the surface water collected via permeable paving and discharge to ground as a soakaway. The Foul water was discharged to the existing on sire pipework as an indirect connection.
