Site work is progressing well on another SWP project.
The existing domestic property was demolished to make way for a three large houses with integral garages with private driveways for a local developer, GO Homes Ltd. The superstructures were constructed traditionally, with part timber trusses with some steelwork beam supports. Masonry walls were load bearing with a beam and block ground floor on deep strip foundations to suit clay soils and the influence of local mature trees.
The foul water drainage was required to be adopted and taken along the existing lane to the main road connection some 150m away. The surface water drainage was attenuated on site and discharge into a deep bored soakaway.
