Former Feedback Factory, Crowborough Hill
SWP are pleased to be working on this site close to the railway station and old pub, converting the former 1950`s factory unit into modern smaller business units. An additional warehouse unit is also being constructed to the south of the site. The old factory has maintained its primary steel frame with modifications for new stairs and fire escapes. The Hospice`s is complete and it looks really great ! Working alongside the design team and Sunninghill Contractors, all who have turned out a quality product for the Hospice. Woldingham School Sixth Form and Library Building
Site work is going well and the Library project is nearing completion. SWP have enjoyed working with the team, OSP Architecture and Sunninghill Construction. This hybrid building was part steel framed superstructure with high and raking columns and curtain walling to the upper floor level, with a reinforced concrete frame for the remaining upper floor and lower floor arrangement. SWP are pleased to be working with Pentland Homes on a site in Kent for 76 houses. These are a variety of two and three storey properties with various elevational treatments, constructed traditionally. Listed Historic Building in Eastbourne
SWP are pleased to be working on a local historic building dating back to the early 1700`s. Privately owned and being used as a school, the building was required to remain operational and safe during any proposed works. During a recent refurbishment, it was noted that the roof details and leadwork required attention and that some decaying timber was noted in the parapet gutters. On further investigation, the main timber roof frames had also decayed on the bearing, some of which appeared to have rot throughout with little or no support remaining.
